Sun, sand and Sussex

I am sitting here at my brother-in-laws computer.
The husband is in my sister-in-laws kitchen cooking steak for tea,
The kids are...
wait for this...
camping!
With my brother and sister-in-law and their 4 children, while we have their beautiful house in the heart of Sussex for a week.

What a great break for us, a real rest after the 6 weeks hosting summer mission teams in Belgium, they were a good 6 weeks, there were lots of outreach missions, many contacts made, plenty of new experiences for the short termers and for the locals and a lot of hard work put in from all parties...
...but now, it is a time of rest and catching up, I can relax in the sun, or at the computer, or at the beach... the choice is ours for a week.

We have some deputation work to do later, but for the moment we really thank God for this short break.
We can drink our beer, listen to our music loud, stay out late and eat what we want when we want... I think after a week of this down right kick against institutionalisation we will be glad to have the kids back and a touch of reality...

So for now, from the heart of Sussex, I will sign off, drink my beer and eat my lovingly prepared steak dinner with my lovely husband whom I am spending some quality time with, thank you God.
